Lead-in T invites Ss to have a brief recall of the content of the text, asking Ss to recall the word groups of “my job”, “beauty of nature” and “save people’s lives”, and ask why the topic is “An exciting job”. To introduce the key words and expressions in a topic-related context. Step II. Presentation exercise T guides Ss to classify the key words and expressions into 3 groups: the fact, the experience and the feelings; confirm the theme. T leads Ss to explore the meanings and usage of the key words and expressions both in the text and in other theme- related contexts.
