Students talk about their understanding of the statement “In fact, his name is synonymous with the English Romantic movement.” 旨在通过学生对文章的再读，对文章的细节加以掌握和理解。 Third Reading Students read the first paragraph and answer: 1. How were romantic emotions expressed? 2. What was the purpose of the romantic works? 进一步熟悉课文，根据课文辅助词汇及短语了解课文整体，为下一步复述和介绍做铺垫。 Students read the introduction to William Wordsworth, and answer: 1. What influenced his poetry? Why? 2. What characterizes the poems in “Lyrical Ballads”? Students read the introduction to Li Bai, and answer: 1. What characterizes his poems? 2. What influenced Li Bai’s poetry? Students offer examples of Li Bai’s “free, vivid and exaggerated style of poetry”.
