Unit2 English around the world 一、 Analyzing of teaching material 1. Analysis of the status and function of the lesson The topic of this unit is “English around the world ”. This unit seeks to give students a better understanding of how English developed and how it is spoken in the world. Through learning this lesson, the students would be clear that English is spoken in many countries throughout the world and many of them have different forms of expression. This lesson aims to open a window for students to learn English and to understand the developing trend of language.
