Part 1 知识点讲解：
一、宾语从句的定义
宾语从句是一种名词性从句，在句中作及物动 的宾语，或介 的宾语，或形容 的宾语。
批注：中考主要考察及物动词后的宾语，这个作为重点讲解及练习的对象。
He said (that) he wanted to stay at home. (动词后)
She doesn’t know (that) she is seriously ill.(动词后)
I am sure (that) he will succeed. （形容词后）
I am interested in what he told us .(介词后)
It depends on whether it will rain tomorrow. (介词后)
二、宾语从句分类
根据引导宾语从句的不同连词，宾语从 句可分为三类。
1. 由 that 引导的宾语从句。
That 只有语法作用，没有实在的意义，在口语和非正式文体中可以省略。例如：
He said (that) he would read books at home.
She doesn’t know (that) he is from Shanghai.
I am sorry (that) he failed the exam.
2. 由 if 或 whether 引导的宾语从句。
If 和 whether 在句中的意思是“是否” 。例如：
I want to know if (whether) he li ves there.
He asked me whether (if) I could help him.
批注： if 有两个含义 “是否”以及 “如果”
I don’t know if he will come tomorrow. If he comes, I will tell you .
If 和 whether 的区别：
在下列情况下只能用 whether ：
①在具有选择意义，又有 or 或 or not 时，尤其是直接与 or not 连用时，往往用 whether 如：
Let me know whether he will come or not ．让我知道他是否能来。
I dont know whether he does any washing or not ．我不知道他洗不洗衣服。
I wonder whether we stay or whether we go ．我不知道我们是去还是留。
②在介词之后用 whether 。如：
Im interested in whether he likes English ．我关心的是他是否喜欢英语。
Were thinking about whether we can finish the work on time ．我们正在考虑是否能按时完成这项工作。
I worry about whether I hurt her feelings ．我担心是否伤了她的感情。
③在不定式前用 whether 。如：
He hasnt decided whether to visit the old man ．他尚未决定是否拜访那位老人。
I dont know whether to go ．我不知去否。
He hasnt decided whether to go by bus or by train ．他还未决定是乘公共汽车去还是坐火车去。
3. 由连接代 who, whom, whose, what, which 和连接副 when, where, why, how 引导的宾语从句
Do you know who (whom) they are waiting foe?
He asked whose handwriting was the best.
Can you tell me where the No.3 bus stop is?
