Ss: Good morning, Miss Tian. T: What’s the weather like today? Ss: It’s cloudy and windy. T: Yes. The weather is changeable these days. Because of the unsettled weather, some students have colds. What should they do? Ss: They should see a doctor/have a rest… Step 2.Lead in T: Today we’re going to talk about health problems. Let’s learn Unit 1 “What’s the matter?” Step 3.Pre-listening New words T: To show some pictures about parts of the body and teach new words. Work on 1a.Let Ss look at the picture of page 1 and write the correct [a-m] for each part of the body. After that check the answers Step4. While-listening Play the tape for the first time and let Ss number the names [1-5] in 1b.After that check the answers. Play the tape for the second time and let Ss fill in the following blanks.
