Lead-in Ask Ss some questions to go over the main idea of Reading A Q1: Where is ? ? Q2: It is ( in the centre of )?. Q3: What can I see if I visit?? Q4: If you visit ?, you can see?? Step2. Presentation of using if conditional sentences a)Write the conditional sentences on the blackboard : If you like sightseeing, you will love it! If you walk along the Bund, you will see many old buildings. If you enjoy history and natural beauty, you will love this garden. 4) If you visit People’s Square, you can also see famous buildings around it. Get Ss to conclude the definition: We use conditional sentences to talk about possible actions and the results of these actions. Get Ss to work out the rule: finish page77. Exercise: pair work(in pairs, Get Ss to finish exercise on page 95— 96 in Book Do some related exercise on page 78. Do some exercises on page 97 in Book .B Step 4. Summary Get Ss to summarize what they have learned today.
