This period, students will deal with the reading part of unit 6 and read short stories happening in a school clinic. Reading belongs to the input in the process of language learning, so the content of this period is of great importance. It is very important for students to learn it well.
The analysis of the students
Students have already learnt the new words and the dialogues of this unit, that is to say the students have already mastered the basic knowledge of this unit. So it is not difficult for most of students to understand the short stories. But it may be not easy for some of them to fill in the forms on page 104.
Teaching objects
Knowledge object: Enable students to read and understand the short stories on page 103
Ability object: Enable students to practice reading and try to improve their reading skills
Moral object: By completing reading, enable students to know how to care for patients and give them suggestions, put moral education into language study.

Get students to read the short stories within ten minutes and finish the following two tasks:
Task one : underline the following phrases and sentenes during reading
Have a stomachache, it is nothing serious, exercise more and eat less, be in a very short skirt, keep coughing all the time, catch a cold, take the pills three times a day , lie down, What a huge lunch! What a busy afternoon!
Task two : fill in the forms shown on the blackboard.
