教学设计
Teaching aims:
Knowledge aim: Master three major elements of the object clauses--conjunctions(连接词), word order(语序), and tense(时态).
2. Ability aims:
Know how to use object clauses correctly.
3. Emotion goals
Make the students feel the happiness and success by group work.
Teaching important and difficult points:
1. The word order in object clauses
2. The tense
3. The difference between if and whether
Step1. Lead in
Let the students read and translate the sentences on the screen.
Then think about the structure of these sentences. At last, lead in today’s topic--object clauses.
Step2. Present the Teaching Aims and Guidance on the screen
First:Teaching Aims:
Knowledge aim: Master three major elements of the object clauses--conjunctions(连接词), word order(语序), and tense(时态).
2. Ability aims
Know how to use object clauses correctly.
3. Emotion goals
Make the students feel the happiness and success by group work.
Second:Teaching Guidance
1. Review the basic knowledge about the object clauses--conjunctions(连接词), word order(语序), and tense(时态)
2. Explain the differences between if and whether
3. Do a quiz about the object clauses

Step4. Learn the three major elements about the object clauses
First, every student reads the sentences on the screen and divide the sentence construction by themselves, then correct with their partners
Second, do some exercises and check the answers by themselves
Third, work in groups to discuss the wrong items and conclude what we should pay attention to about the object clauses----conjunctions(连接词), the word order(语序), and the tense(时态).
Step5. Do several exercises that appeared in the former entrance examinations
Step6. Summary
Tell students to work in groups of four to summarize what they have learned and form a mind-map, then read it and keep it in their heart.
