To be able to create one ’ s own cartoon story. 学情分析 Cartoon is an amusing topic that can arouse students ’ interest in learn English. The students will be more willing to get involved in the activities in class. 重点难点 To enable students to tell the differences between the tenses —— present perfect, present simple and past simple. To enable students to talk about their favourite cartoons and create their own cartoons. 教学过程 4.1 第一学时 4.1.1 教学活动 Step 1： lead in —— guessing game and revision of vocabulary The teacher shows some famous cartoon characters on the screen and asks the students if they like cartoons? The teacher tells them that they are going to have a trip in the cartoon world. First of all, they can play a guessing game. The teacher will show a cartoon hero on the screen piece by piece. If any one of the students knows the answers, they can stand up at once and say the hero ’ s na The answer is Captain America. The teacher asks the students if they like him and if they know him well. Then the teacher displays an introduction to Captain America on the screen, but some words are missing. So the students need to complete the sentences. The teacher gives a toy cat to students and asks them them to pass it from one to another when the music begins. When the music stops, the student who has the toy cat should stand up to complete one sentence. After completing all the sentences, the students should read these sentences aloud together.
