Unit6 Im going to study computer science Section A(Period 2)教学设计 Learning Aims Ⅰ. After this class, students can use the following new words and phrases flexibly and completely. college, education, medicine, university, London, article, send, be sure about, make sure. II. By learning about dream and how to achieve it, just be confident to struggle for your dream. Key points and Difficulty The key point of this unit is future intention. Especially the structure “be going to do” is difficult for students. Except the new words and phrases, students also should use the following key sentences flexibly. “What do/does…want to be?” “How is/are…going to do that?” “Where is/are going to…?” “When is/are going to…?”. Teaching Methods I’ll adopt Communicative Language Teaching Method, Task-based Method, Autonomous Learning Method and Cooperative Learning Method. Teaching Tools I’ll use multi-media computer software, powerpoint, blackboard and chalks. Teaching Procedure Ⅰ. Lead-in 1.Talent Show Let one student have an English talent show that is related to the topic of this class - dream. (Design intention: attract the students’ interest; have a free talk with students just like friends to lead in the topic naturally.) 2. Review Guess the dreams jobs that learned last class together. (Design intention: on the one hand, students can think of the old words to prepare the vocabularies we’ll use this class; on the other hand, lead in the topic of this class further.) Ⅱ. Learning Aims Ask the students read the learning aims together. (Design intention: make the students’ learn about the aims of this class clearly. ) Ⅲ. Challenge the new words Students read and spell the new words as fast as they can. The other students can stand up to challenge him/her.
