8A Unit6 I’m going to study computer science. Section A (1a – 2c) Ⅰ、Teaching Aims Knowledge aim: students can learn the following new words and phrases by themselves: grow up, computer programmer, cook, doctor, engineer, violinist, driver, pilot, pianist, scientist. Ability aim: enable students to know about jobs and talk about their future job by using the future tense –be going to. ① ─What do you want to be when you grow up? ② ─How are you going to do that? ③ Where are you going to work? ④ When are you going to start? Moral aim: after learning about different jobs, it can help students have clear understanding about their future job and encourage them to study hard and make their dream come true. Warming up Play a music video “Just For Fun”. 设计意图:音乐短片(MV)导入既能激发学生的积极性,又为本节课有关职业话题的引人作了充分铺垫。 Step 2. Think and Practice Ask students to think about some more jobs and then practice pairwork. 设计意图:让学生回顾并认识各种不同的职业,然后进行对话练习,对一般将来时形成初步印象,并为本课的听力理解做好充分准备。 Step 3. Short Reading Read and answer: What does Eric want to be? 设计意图:创设语言学习情境(An E-mail from one student),引导学生通过阅读进一步加深对职业话题和将来时态的理解,同时学会结合问题关注文本所给的有效信息。 Step 4. Play A Game Play a game “Who can remember” , have a competition . 设计意图:通过游戏和竞赛活动来激发学生主动性和参与热情,进一步加强学生对本节课有关不同职业的表达。 Step 5.Listening practice Task 1: Listen, fill and match.
