(高中英语新人教版必修三第二单元words,warming-up,pre-readingreading)
Teaching aims:
Knowledge aims: 1. Listen, read and learn the Chinese meaning of the new words in this unit.
2.Get the general idea of Passage One.
Ability aims: 1.Learn the reading skill skimming and learn to get the general idea by going through the text.
2. Learn to express their personal opinions in simple English.
Moral aims: .Learn what a balanced diet is and develop the good habit of eating..
Teaching important points and difficult points:
Teaching important points:
Learn the new words of this unit, especially words about food.
Learn the general idea of Passage One
Teaching difficult points:
How to pronounce the new words correctly.
How to get the general idea within limited time.
Teaching aids : Multi-media; blackboard
Teaching procedure:
Step 1: Words reading
Ask two students to read the new words of this unit to see which student can read them better since they have listened to the words before class. After reading, point out the words they spelt wrongly and teach them the correct pronunciation. After that, let the whole class read the word together so than everyone can have the chance to read them.
Step 2: Word studying
Task I Bold words
Ask the students to read the bold words and expressions by themselves, and then tell the Chinese meaning of each word. They are given some sentences containing the bold words.
