Method Zedoary oil was prepared by steam distillation. The single factor test controlled the reaction conditions from three aspects of pcirticle size, liquid ratio and extraction temperature to determine the optimal extraction process. The antimicrobial effect of zedoary turmeric oil and other fixed proportion of essential oils was studied by filter paper diffusion method. Result When the powder through the 30 mesh, and solid-liquid ratio of 1:8, extraction temperature of 11() °C, guangxi rhizoma zedoariae extraction yield the best; Compound zedoary turmeric oil has certain antibacterial action and is the best antibacterial effect to staphylococcus aureus and aspergillus, when the oil content is 10%.
