Step I : Greetings
The teacher greet the whole class.
Step II: To show teaching aims.
Step III: Fast reading
Fast reading for general ideas
Ask the students to read the text quickly and get main idea of the passage.
What are they mainly talking about?
The similarities and differences about the ancient Olympics and modern Olympics.
Step IV: Scanning
Ask the students scan the text and find out answers for the following two questions:
