Do You Like pears ? 教案 Theoretical basis 《新课标》指出,学习是能动建构的动态过程,是学习者在教师和学习伙伴的帮助下,在真实的情境中以协作会话的形式自觉主动地进行知识意义建构的过程。由于真实的情境是知识建构的必要条件,所以新课标中倡导的任务型教学法正是实现意义建构的必要途径。教师在课堂上以学生的学习兴趣和生活经验出发,以不同形式和梯度的任务为载体,为学生的知识网络建构和主动输出提供条件。 Teaching material and learning condition 1. Analysis of the teaching material This lesson is from part A of the unit 4 Do You Like Pears. It talks about different kinds of fruits which is closely related to the students’ daily life, thus the students will be interested in it. And students have learned some words about food like apple, hamburger, hot dog, and ice-cream. Based on the old knowledge, the students will be able to listen, speak, and read the new words: peach, pear, watermelon and orange. 2. Analysis of the learning condition Grade 3 students are full of curiosity and active. They are likely to imitate and are ry eager to show and express themselves. Therefore, visual aids and various ve activities should be employed to interest them, such as chant, games, pair work and group work. In addition, due to the immaturity and lack of English vocabulary, they need the help of the teacher and the support from the peers. Teaching Objectives: 1. Language knowledge: 1) The students are able to listen, speak and read the vocabulary: Peach, Pear, Watermelon, Orange. 2) The students are able to use the sentence fluently: Do you like ....? Yes, I do/ No, I dont. 2. Language skills: 1) The students are able to express their likes and dislikes. 2) They are able to understand the teacher’s instructions and do the action. 3. Learning strategy: Through individual studying and cooperative working, they are able to participate, experience and compete in the activities. 4. Affect: 1) Though the pair work and group working, the students can understand the importance of cooperation and good competition. 2) The students will feel like the fruit and know it is good for health.
