M2U4 Project 内容分析 本课要求学生围绕“文学作家”这一主题制作一个海报,介绍该作家的生平经历,代表作品,主要成就和名言等内容,目的是让学生使用本单元所学语言知识和文化知识,讨论文学所涉及的方方面面,回顾单元所学内容。任务活动要求学生以小组为单位,选择感兴趣的某一个作家进行深入探讨;要求学生在探讨过程中采用不同的研究策略,通过网络查阅或者阅读相关书籍等方式获取更全面详尽的信息,并结合研究内容,有针对性地设计海报并在制作海报过程中,要能对所获信息和素材进行合理的梳理与整合,参照范例完成本小组的制作,并展示成果,用英语对其进行介绍。各组的展示在全班范围内进行简要评价,最后将各小组的内容集中展示,形成以“文学作家”为主题的一次活动展览。 教学目标 By the end of this class, students will be able to: 1. create a poster about a writer through cooperation and exploration; 2. present the outcome of group work; 3. evaluate and comment on their project. 教学建议 (一)准备 1. Have students work in groups and collect different kinds of posters as samples for discussion. 2. Have students review the words and expressions in this unit based on a mind-map with the theme of “literature”. 3. Have students get a general idea of what a poster should look like by showing several examples if possible. Have students observe these posters and think about the following question. What makes a good poster? Possible answer A good poster has a brief and informative text, a well-organized design, and a neat layout with eye-catching and colourful pictures. (二)实施 1. Have students discuss what topics should be included in a poster about the writer. Let them discuss and choose some topics of the write for the poster and divide the tasks among group members. Let students research their chosen topics by searching information in the library ,visiting the website, etc. Ask students to collect the useful information and decide which information should be included in the poster. Ask students the following questions to help them make the decision. (1) What topic will you choose to include in your poster? (2) Why did you choose this topic? (3) How will you research your chosen topic? (4) How will you organize your ideas based on your topic? (5) What pictures will you include in your poster? 2. Guide students to study more about the sample poster in the textbook. (1) Who does this sample introduce ? Possible answer
