PAGE PAGE 36 目的论视角下汉语时政新词的英译研究 摘要：自改革开放以来，随着中国经济实力的飞速提高和中国人民的后发崛起，中国在国际社会中日益发挥着不可或缺的作用。中国的社会、经济、文化发展，尤其是政治发展，不断受到世界各国的密切关注。而作为鲜明反应中国政策、纲领、路线、政治精神等的时政新词如雨后春笋般不断涌现。时政新词在国际意识形态交往中扮演着重要的角色。时政新词的正确翻译不仅有助于中国向世界宣示中国政策、发出中国声音、弘扬中国精神，也促进了世界各国对中国的深入认识。 本文笔者搜集了许多时政新词翻译的相关资料且查阅了翻译理论，最终从目的论的视角结合笔者自身翻译实践以及时政新词翻译实例进行探讨和学习。本文全面分析了汉语时政新词的特点和现阶段汉语时政新词英译中存在的各种问题。根据目的论，本文提出三条时政新词的翻译原则，即准确性、简明性、创新性。并在此基础上，通过各种丰富权威的实例分析，总结了五种行之有效的翻译策略，即直译、意译、回译、解释性翻译和省译。在时政新词翻译时，译者可酌情选用其中方法，实现忠实传达宣传目的。 关键词：目的论；汉语时政新词；翻译原则；翻译策略 On?C-E Translation of Political Neologism From the Perspective of Skopostheorie Abstract: With the remarkable progress of China’s development since the reform and opening-up, China has played an increasingly pivotal role in the international community. Global attention has been closely focused on China’s social, economic, cultural and especially political development. Chinese political neologisms that reflect China’s policy, line, program and guiding principles have sprung up like mushrooms. These new words become instrumental in international exchange and communication. Hence the English translation of Chinese political neologisms not only presents China’s political stance and development to the outside world, but also deepens foreigners’ comprehension of China. The author, having collected abundant information and searched relevant translation theories, explores and studies the English translation of Chinese political neologisms from the perspective of Skopstheorie by virtue of his experience of translation practice and ample examples. The definition and features of Chinese political neologisms as well as current problems existing in their translation are analyzed. Under the guidance of Skopstheorie, three translation principles and five translation strategies are exhaustively demonstrated.
