Let’s discuss how to access the site configuration settings.To access the Automatic site configuration, log in to the CAS and select Settings and then CAS Configuration. The Site Options section includes fields that define how automatic sites and user aggregation are controlled by AS names, CIDR blocks, or you can choose not to allow automatic site creation at all, meaning the system will use only manually defined sites for grouping users.Remember that if you are using AS sites, users can still be aggregated to CIDR blocks by their IP address and network mask.However, if you choose to only use CIDR sites, users can’t then be aggregated to AS names. Next, set the User Options settings. In this context, Aggregation refers to not tracking individual users, but rather grouping performance information to the site from which the users are coming. Track user IP addresses, or FE mode, records each client IP address separately. It ignores recognized user names and reports users with IP-address resolution. Track users with identifiers, aggregate other users, or ISP mode, records each user name separately, tracks users with defined user names, and aggregates other users. It also enables you to count user IP addresses that are aggregated as single users. User name recognition from HTTP logins must be enabled on the AMD for this mode to work properly.If you select ISP mode, you may optionally also track IP addresses from selected ranges (recording each client IP address separately) and also count user IP addresses that are aggregated (ISP Extended mode) to see the number of unique client IP addresses for user aggregates that do not have defined user names.Aggregate all users but count distinct user identifiers, or PVU mode, means that all clients from the same AS, CIDR block, or subnet are
