英语教学中如何提高大学生口语交际能力
摘要:英语口语交际能力对于大学生来说是一项重要的语言技能。很多研究学者已经就英语教学中如何提高大学生的口语交际能力这一问题提出不少对策。尽管在中国已有很多相关研究,这一领域仍然具有很大探索空间。本研究目的在于发现影响大学生英语口语交际能力的因素及提出相应的解决对策。研究结果显示,大学生英语口语交际能力差的原因不仅是教师的教学方法和模式存在问题,同时也与学生的心理障碍息息相关。本文从教学方法、教师作用及学生个人努力三方面提出对策,为教师授课和学生学习提供建议。

How?to Improve College Students’ Oral Communicative Competence?in English Teaching
Abstract: English oral communicative competence has become increasingly important to college students. A large body of propositions on how?to improve college students’ oral communicative competence?in English teaching has been put forward by researchers. Even though there are lots of valuable methods, there is still room for further probing. This study aims to identify the factors of college students’ poor English oral communicative competence and put forward corresponding countermeasures from students and teachers’ perspectives. The result confirms that students’ poor oral communicative ability is not merely related to teachers’ teaching methods or patterns, but also to psychological barriers of students. Suggestions from three aspects—pragmatic teaching methods, teachers’ role as well as individual students, are proposed in the thesis to enhance oral communicative competence in English.

1. Introduction
1.1. The importance of oral communicative competence
Among the four English?basic skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing,?listening and?reading are receptive; while speaking and writing are productive?(Zeng, 2005).?Language learning is a process from language input to language?output (i.e. input-process-output). The processed language must go through the procedure of output before the learning procedure has been fulfilled and acquisition can be achieved (qtd. in Zeng, 2005).
