英语阅读课教学提问策略
摘要:阅读对于英语学习者来说是一项重要的语言技能。很多研究已证明提问策略对英语阅读教学至关重要。尽管在中国已经有很多提问策略相关的研究,这一领域仍然具有很大探索空间。本研究基于对不同提问策略的对比分析,对英语阅读教学中的提问策略进行探究,同时对如何提高教师提问效果进行讨论。本研究认为,灵活运用提问策略有助于提高阅读教学质量。本研究为如何在英语阅读教学中更好运用提问策略提供建议。

Research on Strategies of Classroom Questioning for EFL Reading Instruction
Abstract: Reading is an important language skill for EFL learners. A large body of research has proven that questioning strategies are essential to reading instruction. Even though studies of questioning strategies are plentiful in China, there is still room for further probing. Through contrastive analysis of questioning strategies, this research aims to identify and discuss effective questioning strategies and optimize teachers’ questioning skills. The findings confirm that flexible use of questioning skills is beneficial to EFL reading instruction. Some implications and suggestions of questioning in reading instruction are offered.

1. Introduction
1.1. The importance of reading in English teaching
As one of the four basic skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing, reading is of vital importance for English learners. Li (2002) believes that reading is the basis of improving students’ comprehensive ability of the use of English, because English applying ability is established on the basis of enormous language input, especially on the basis of massive reading. Grellet (2000) also claims that by reading, learners are not only able to acquire necessary language input, expand vocabulary, enhance language sense and improve language proficiency, but also obtain new knowledge, improve cognitive level and enhance the ability of analyzing and solving problems.
Liang and Pu (1998) claim that the requirement of reading is highest and reading ability is very important in college English instruction. Wu (2013)
