During the early years of Yeatss literary career, he wrote romantic poetry under influence of Spenser, Shelly and so on. (the early period) The 1910s were Yeatss period of transition, during which he departed from the romanticism of his early period and developed into modernism. (the middle period) In Yeatss final period of maturity, he published many volumes of his representative poems.
