一般过去时 一、定义 动词的一般过去时态表示过去发生的动作、情况或存在的状态。行为动词（即实义动词）的过去式没有人称和数的变化。 二、谓语动词的构成形式 一般过去时的谓语动词有be动词和行为动词两种基本形式。 类比一般现在时： （1）当谓语动词是be (am, is, are) 动词时，am/ is 变为was, are 变为were。在 否定句中，直接将not添加在was/ were之后. 疑问句时，将was/were置于主语之前即可。 e.g. 肯： I was ill yesterday morning. 否： I wasn’t ill yesterday. 一般疑问句：——Were you ill yesterday morning? ——Yes, I was. /No, I wasn’t. 特殊疑问句：How was she？ （2）当谓语动词是行为动词时，将对应的一般现在时肯定句中的行为动词变成过去式；否定及疑问句中的do/does变成did即可动词仍用原形，即“见did，也用动原”。 一般现在时 一般过去时 e.g. She likes dancing. She doesn’t like dancing. Does she like dancing？ What does she like？ She liked dancing. She didn’t like dancing. Did she like dancing？ What did she like？ 规则过去式变化规律： 一般直接加ed或d play→played look→looked like→liked want→wanted 以辅音字母+y结尾的，改y为i加ed study→studied carry→carried 以“单元音+单辅音”结尾的重读闭音节双写词尾的辅音字母再加ed stop→stopped plan→planned 不规则变化有： see—saw do—did go—went am/is—was are—were has/have—had等 写出下列动词的过去式 1. study ______ 2. go ____ 3. turn ______ 4. are____ 5. play ______ 6. have ____ 7. stop _______ 8. clean_______ 9. is ____ 10. love_____ 三、一般过去时的用法 1.表示在过去时间里发生的动作或存在的状态 e.g. Liu Jie got up at 7: 10 this morning. He was a student three years ago. 2．表示过去经常或反复发生的动作。 e.g. Zhang always went to school by bike last term. 3．表示已故人所做的事情。 e.g. Comrade Lei Feng did good deeds in his life. (雷锋同志做了一生的好事。) 4.表示过去所发生的一系列的动作，而这一系列的动作是从现在的角度来考虑的，不是从动作相互之间的关系这一角度来考虑的。 e.g. Miss Liu got up at seven o’clock this morning, dressed, had breakfast, and went to work. 四、一般过去时常用的时间状语 1.yesterday或以其构成的短语：yesterday morning(afternoon, evening)等； 2. 由“last+一时间名词”构成的短语：last night, last year (winter, month, week)等； 3. 由“时间段+ago”构成的短语：a moment ago, a short time ago, an hour ago等； 4. 由“介词+一时间名词”构成的短语：on Friday, on Monday morning, on April 15, on the night of Oct. 1，in 1980；
