The idea was to give it power and urban presence through a sculptural form to capture t he imagination and put up a signifier for the association. This expressive power will remain even when the freestanding building forms part of the completed street block. The inner and outer order is dominated by a ‘EgreenhouseÕ which cuts t hrough the entire building both horizontally and vertically, letting in natural light and theref ore generating a sense of serenity. V iews of the city from glazed lift lobbies and through the structure make of these areas the atmospheric core of the building. Directly next to them are the main staircase and the ancillary spaces.
