第 PAGE 页 共 NUMPAGES 页 《尚书》古典法律核心词“罚”的翻译模式对比 摘 要：是中华文化的元典，为“七经之冠冕”，是我国古代文明发展历史的见证。文章基于已建成的平行语料库，详细梳理了中法律核心词“罚”字的内涵及意义分布，并对两个英译本的翻译模式进行对比分析。研究发现：James Legge译本秉承了忠实原语的翻译思想，翻译模式呈现出“直译释义省译”的分布倾向;Martin Palmer译本的翻译模式为“直译省译释义改译”，不完全拘泥于字面，适度采用多样化翻译方法，增强了译文的可读性。两个英译本促进了蕴含的中国古代法律思想的传播，对法律古文中文化核心词的翻译研究和实践具有一定的借鉴意义。 关键词：罚;;平行语料库;翻译方法;翻译模式 中图分类号：H315.9 文献标识码：A 文章编号： 1672-1101（2022）01-0085-06 收稿日期：2021-09-10 基金项目：安徽省哲学社科规划项目：基于语料库的本源概念翻译模式及认知研究（AHSKY2021D138） 作者简介：葛厚伟（1979-），男，安徽天长人，教授，博士，研究方向：英译。 On Comparative Analysis of Translating Pattern of Ancient Legal Keyword FA in Shangshu： Analysis Based on Two English Translation Version GE Houwei （School of Foreign Languages，Chuzhou University，Chuzhou，Anhui 239000， China） Abstract： Shangshu， which is the witness of Chinese ancient civilization development history， is a canon of Chinese culture and the crown of the seven classics.Based on the established parallel corpus of Shangshu， this paper sorts out the connotation and meaning distribution of “FA” in Shangshu， and makes a comparative analysis of the translating patterns in its two English versions.It is found that James Legge′s translation adheres to the idea of faithful translation of the source language， and presents translating pattern of literal translationinterpretationomission， while Martin Palmer′s translating pattern is literal translationomissioninterpretationadaptation， not strictly adhering to the literal translation， but appropriately adopting various translation methods to enhance the readability of translation.The two versions have promoted the dissemination of ancient Chinese legal thoughts contained in Shangshu， and have certain reference significance for the translation research and practice of cultural keywords in ancient legal texts.
