Warming up
I. Ask the students some questions to arouse their interest:
Do you have friends in our class? Please introduce him/ her to us.
= 2 \* ROMAN II. Show students the picture on Page 15 of Unit 2. Ask them to look at the picture and discuss:
1. How do you make friends?
2. What do you often do with your friends?
= 3 \* ROMAN III. Introduce the key themes to students.
= 4 \* ROMAN IV. Ask the students to listen to four sentences and match the key words in the sentences with the pictures in Activity = 1 \* GB3 ①, Warming up.
Present the key sentences on the slide and explain their meanings.
V. Ask students to look at the three pictures in Activity = 2 \* GB3 ②, and then match the words about personality with the pictures.
