Show students more pictures if possible. Ask the students to listen to the recorder and match the pictures with the phrases in the box on page 64. Ask the students to listen to a dialogue and choose the correct answer. Presentation of Listening I. Preview the words and expressions in the box: document, for sb to review, sign, set up... II. Listen to the dialogue and finish Exercise 3. III. Ask the students to act out the dialogue in pairs. Ask students to talk about the functions of secretary. Listening Practice = 1 \* ROMAN I. Learn what to say when arrange meeting. Preview the sentences in box. Listen and complete the dialogue. III. Ask the students to listen again and take notes of the meeting’s time and place. 教学环节设计 Speaking Practice I. Ask the students to work in pairs to finish Exercise 6. Consolidation Go over the job content of secretary.
