Present the three pictures about different festivals on Page 107. Ask the students to look at them and guess: What festivals are they? II. Tell the students they are going to learn more about festivals. Reading presentation = 1 \* ROMAN I. Ask the students to read the statements of the three festivals. Remind them to apply the reading skills. Then ask them to finish the “true” or “false” questions and if it’s false, let them correct it. □ People in Thailand celebrate their own New Year by splashing water on each other. □ Carnival takes place in May. □ The German people are great beer drinkers.
