Warming up
I. Show a poster to the students, and talk about the characters of the poster and words on it.
II. Introduce the content and character of the poster.
Presentation of Reading
I. Explain the words and expressions in the box of Exercise 1.
II. Ask the students to find the words and expressions in Exercise 2, and review them.
III. Ask the students to listen to and look through the poster quickly and answer the questions in Exercise 2.
IV. Ask the students to read the poster again and make a short summary of the sentence patterns in it.
Reading Practice
I. Ask the students to look through the information in Exercise 3.
II. Find the relative information for the blanks.
III. Help the students fill in the blanks in the correct way according to the characters of the posters they learnt.

I. Ask the students to look through the advertisement in Exercise 1, and help them understand all the words.
II. Listen to the tape and fill in the blanks.

I. Review the sentence patterns about shopping.

III. Divide the students into groups, and ask them to look through the information in Exercise 3.
IV. Then give each group some time to make posters using the information.
