Methods 72 patients with elderly hyperteion who were treated in our hospital from January 2014 to February 2015 were selected as the study objects and divided into observation group and control group with 36 patients with primary elderly hyperteion in the control group and 36 patients with elderly hyperteion combined with cerebral infarction in the observation group. The changes of paramete of heart rate variability before and after the antihyperteive therapy of the patients from both groups were detected. Results % decline of the mean arterial pressure was presented after the fit antihyperteive therapy of the patients from the observation group and % decline was presented after the antihyperteive therapy for the second time and the presuppose standard was reached； % decline of the mean arterial pressure was presented after the fit antihyperteive therapy of the patients from the observation group and % decline was presented after the antihyperteive therapy for the second time and the presuppose standard was reached； statistical significance was presented in the differences of the blood pressure before and after the antihyperteive therapy of the patients from both groups（P）.
