Tell Ss that we use the “would rather…than…” struct ure to 教学过程设计合理,教 talk about preferences, i,e, that we like one thing more than another . When we write or talk to our friends , we use the 学环节环环相扣 contracts form “I’d rather …” 2. Once students have finish ed , ask on e student to play the 教 role of Millie and another to play the role of Amy . Ask them to 学 read out the completed conver sation . Correct mistak es and mispronuncia tions. 3. Ask Ss to complete “Work out the rule!” on their own. 过 Part C Teaching proced ures 程 1. Remind students that the pronou ns “someon e somebo dy , anyone anybody , no one nobody” are used to refer to people . We use them when we do not know who the person is. We can not use them to refer to objects. 2. Go through rules 1,2 and 3 on page 29 with students . Then ask Ss to read the rules aloud, with each student readin g one 44 sentence. 3.Check whether stud ents unders tand the rules by writin g the following senten ces on the board. 结构严密 Is there_______ ___ in the bathroom ? Explai n to Ss that “something , anything , nothing and none” refer to things. We use them when we do not know or do not need to say. 2.Read rules 1,2 and 3 on page 31 to the class.
