二、课程性质、地位和任务
This module is designed to develop students knowledge andawareness of the importance of cultural differences ininternational business communication; The teaching in this modulewill involve a variety of activities; particularly mini lecturesand student-led seminars; case studies and simulations designed toimmerse learners in a variety of unfamiliar cultural scenarios andguided reading tasks.? Students will carry out research into aspecific culture in order to set up cultural events which will beassessed.

Aims
1)? to prepare students for the experience of studying andworking in a culture different from their own;
2)? to develop in students a sense of self-reliance andautonomous problem-solving appropriate to participation in anotherculture;
3)? to develop students’ independence in self-directedlearning and research;
4)? to develop students skills of critical analysis inrelating intercultural theories to their own experience.
