In fact, China has already taken great responsibilities and efforts to protect the environment and combat climate change, pursuing harmony between man and nature. However, some Western media reports ignore China’s contributions and intentionally distort the facts. Let’s now watch one episode of China Daily’s documentary series Discover China: Behind the Rapid Growth and learn how the Chinese media tell the stories of China’s environmental protection. This episode focuses on the world’s largest planted forest, Saihanba (塞罕坝), and the benefits it brings to mankind.
