《英语新闻特稿与专栏写作》课程教学大纲 Feature and Column Writing (in English) 课程名称：英语新闻特稿与专栏写作 课程编号：623023171 课程类型：专业必修课 学时学分： 34 学时 2 学分 考核类别：考试、实践 适用对象：本科四年级 适用专业：新闻学（融媒体国际新闻） 一、课程教学目标 Learning Objectives 本课程旨在培养适应国际传播新形势的复合型记者人才（尤其旨在提高新闻特稿及专栏撰写能力）。在英语环境下，本课程将对学生进行理论指导（包括新闻理念及写作技能培养）以及相关知识储备（文化旅游、生活方式等）。通过此课程的学习，学生可以系统地掌握撰写特稿及专栏的原则及技能，以及如何为不同形式的视频撰写解说词。同时新闻系学生们也会具备从事文化旅游、生活方式等报道的基本素养，从而更好地促进文化交流及相互理解。 This course aims to help students to write high quality, engaging content of specialised topics for various formats of media such as newspaper/magazine columns or streaming service (incl. vlogs) in digital channels. By studying a series of outstanding news/infotainment outputs, this course will offer students essential skills on how to develop their feature stories or write scripts for video clips in first person as well as in third person in the English-speaking world. Students are also encouraged to transfer related skills to promote mutual understandings and bridge the gaps through intra-cultural communications. 二、先修课程 Pre-course knowledge 《英语新闻采访与报道》、《中西新闻比较》等 四、课程教学方法（或手段）Teaching Methods 本课程主要以教师讲授为主，同时积极开展课堂讨论，加强与学生课堂互动。教师充分利用多功能教学设备，通过电子讲稿（PPT）、新闻片段等多媒体形式，全方位加强学生对相关专业知识的理解。另外还有实践项目(个人英语评述撰写及团队新闻视频制作)，帮助学生树立团队意识，提升团队协作能力以及口头表达、写作等能力。 This course is mainly delivered by lectures on a weekly basis with interactive class discussions, throughout which multimedia equipment such as PPT and video clips are employed to help students better understand complex issues.
