On the Technical Analysis and Emotional Processing of the Song Red Bean Lyrics Abstract Red bean lyrics is one of the most classic songs composed by Liu Xuean. It derived from the th lyrics created by Jia Baoyu and his guests during the gathering related to the 28 chapter of the greatest Chinese novel A Dream in Red Mansions. Red Bean Lyrics is the bright spot of Liu’s master pieces. The works is made of appealing melody and catchy rhythm, and permeated with frank emotion, characteristic art traits as well as irresistible attraction. Thus, it has become the must-study works learned by Chinese vocal majors. With my own experience, the essay aims to theoretically analyze Red Bean Lyrics on the basis of its backgrounds, emotion expression and vocal technique so as to guide the junior vocal majors toward a better mastery of Red Bean Lyrics ’ performance and Chinese traditional poetry and its culture.
