【教学过程】
Step 1: Warming-up
1. Greetings
T: What’s the weather like today?
Ss: It’s hot and sunny.
T: It’s really hot today. It’s summer now. In summer, I usually wear my T-shirt. Some girls like to wear skirts or dresses. Some boys like to wear T-shirts and shorts.
2. 情境导入,引出话题
T: Tomorrow is a special day. It’s Children’s Day. Look at the notice board. There is a fashion show in the music room tomorrow. Sarah is so happy. She wants to join the show. What will she wear to the party. Look! What happened?
引导学生齐读屏幕上Sarah和妈妈的对话
Sarah: Mum, my clothes are too small.
Mum: Oh, yes. Let’s go shopping.
Step 2: Presentation
1. Here is a clothes shop. There are many beautiful clothes in it. Let’s go and have a look. What do you see in the shop?
Ss: I see a …/ I see the …
T: Which one do you like?
Ss: I like the ...
2. The clothes are so nice. I like them, too. 出示词卡,教读单词nice和pretty.
练说I like the … It’s nice.
3. Sarah and Mum are in the shop. Which one does Sarah’s mum like?
引出单词expensive,出示词卡,教读单词。
Why is this hat so expensive? 看商标,了解帽子来自英国,从而引出英国的帽子文化。
出示图片,介绍英国的帽子文化,由英国女王的帽子,引发对价格的思考,从而取得学生的共鸣It’s expensive.运用不同的帽子练习这句话的表达。
4. In the UK people wear hats in many important places. In China pupils wear hats too.出示图片和小黄帽
T: How much is the yellow cap? 出示价格,教学单词cheap
5. 认读四个新授单词,用自编歌谣加强记忆。
The cap is 5 yuan. Ha! It’s cheap.
The hat is 90 yuan. So expensive!
I like the cap. I like the hat.
It’s so pretty and it’s very nice.
Step 3: Consolidation
Think and say.哪件衣服适合Sarah? 你能给她一些建议吗?
运用句型Look at the … It’s …来进行表达。
2. Sarah喜欢这件旗袍,关于旗袍,你都知道什么?
在学生交流自己所知后,观看有关旗袍的相关视频,增加了解。
3. Will Mum buy it for Sarah?妈妈会买这件旗袍给Sarah吗?
学生交流自己的观点,总结出It’s nice and pretty. But it’s too expensive.从而给出购物的建议。
Step 4: Extension
1. Sarah didn’t buy this Qipao. She bought a blue dress. How do you think of the new dress?
举例,学习如何描述某人的物品并作出评价。Sarah has a new dress.It’s 50 yuan. It’s pretty and cheap.
2. Group work
小组内讨论Sarah 和朋友们分别买了什么?花了多少钱?你认为他们买的
