In order to fundamentally solve the backwardness of agriculture and rural areas and promote the continuous increase of the income of people out of poverty, we must implement the strategy of rural revitalization on the basis of consolidating the achievements of poverty alleviation. Based on the field investigation in Jianan District of Xuchang City, this paper deeply analyzes the current situation of the continuous increase of people out of poverty in the context of rural revitalization, and points out the difficulties faced by the traditional management model, for example, the overall income is low, the scale effect of agricultural industry has not yet played a role, the social security system is imperfect and the individual reasons are prominent.
