Unit1 Reading 优教教学设计（二） 设计意图 This text introduces a famous doctor John Snow in London, who defeated a most severe disease through scientific observation, research, analysis and conclusion. While reading, students can experience the thorough observation, brave and scientific research and devoted spirits of great scientists. By learning this text, students are required to know the orders of doing scientific research, which may help; in their own later life, learn from the devoted spirits and hard work of scientists which are major parts for their success in their study and research, and also appreciate great people’s characteristics and qualities. 教学目标 1.
