Presentation Show a picture of a person or a group of people, and ask students to describe the person/people’s appearance, using adjectives such as tall, short, thin, fat, long hair and so on. （根据同学实际情况，选择图片或教材图示） Introduce new words: scarf、coat、brown、short、eye、black、nose、thin、thick、fat. Play the audio of the dialogue and ask students to listen and follow along in their books. Play the audio again and ask students to try to read aloud along with it. Step 3. Practice Ask students to work in pairs and take turns practicing the dialogue. The teacher will give some prompts to the students and ask them to use the sentence patterns in the dialogue to describe the appearance of the people in the pictures. Students work in groups to create their own dialogue, describing the appearance of each other. Step 4.
