一、Teaching objectives 
1. Language functions.
1)Identifying family members.
2. Structures(Review):What’s your name? He’s/she’s (Jane). That’s my/his/her (father).
This is my (family). That’s his/her family.  This is my family.
3、Vocabulary(Review):a bag, a boat, a car, Ann, a ruler, Mocky, Bobby, a bike, Lulu, Danny, an eraser, a computer.
二、Teaching key point.
1) Introduce the letter W w.
三、Teaching difficult point.
1) Study words that begin with the letter Ww.
四、Teaching procedure.
1. Talk together 
1) Have the children stand in a circle and hold up their family pictures.
2) Have each child say his or her English name. (Make sure each Child knows the English name of the child on either side. Encourage them to ask. “What’s yours name?’’ if they do not know.)
3) Have each child introduce the neighboring child to the class using the structures He’s/She’s (Jane). That’s his/her family. Make sure the
pronouns he/she and his/her are correct. 
4) Have the children put their pictures in a pile in the center of the circle.
5) Explain to the children that you will pick up the pictures one at a time, and that you want them to say “That’s his/her family.” when you hold up their drawing.
6) Continue until you have returned all the pictures.
8) Have the children open their books and point to the picture at the top of the page.
9) Ask the children who is holding the picture of his family.
10) Display your copy of the page. Elicit the character’s names: Ken, Ann, Tommy. Make sure the children know that picture is of Ken’  family and Ann’s family because Ann is Ken’s sister.
2. Listen and point
  Student Book page 66
  1) Have the children turn to the page 66 in their books. Draw their attention to the bottom half of the page.
2) Say, “Now we will hear some words.’’ Play the tape of the first three words. Have the children point with their pencils to the first letter of each word as they hear it. Repeat for the other two rows o
