Next,theteachercandiscussthethreatstorainforests,suchasdeforestation,logging,mining,andagriculture.Studentscanbrainstormreasonswhytheseactivitiesareharmfulanddiscusstheconsequencesoflosingrainforests,suchaslossofhabitats,climatechange,andlossofbiodiversity.

Afterthat,theteachercanintroducedifferentorganizationsandindividualswhoareworkingtoprotectandsavetherainforest.Theclasscandiscusstheirmethodsandachievements.Someexamplesoforganizationsandindividualsinclude:

1.RainforestFoundation:Theteachercanexplainhowthisorganizationworkswithindigenouscommunitiestoprotecttheirrainforestlands.Theycandiscusstheimportanceofinvolvinglocalcommunitiesinconservationefforts.
