mitochondrial(mt)genomewasassembledasasinglecirculardsDNAof157,510bp,oneofthe
largestreportedforfungi.ConservedgenesincludingthelargeandsmallrRNAsubunits,27tRNA
and15protein-codinggenes,wereidentified.Inaddition,58non-conservedopenreadingframes
(ncORFs)intheintergenicandintronicregionswerealsoidentified.Transcriptionanalysesusing
RNA-SeqvalidatedtheexpressionofmostconservedgenesandncORFs.Fifty-twointrons(groupsI
andII)werefoundwithinconservedgenes,accountingfor68.5%ofthegenome.Thirty-twohoming
