Abstract:Interferongamma-inducedlysosomalthiolreductase(GILT)isabundantlyexpressed
inantigen-presentingcellsandparticipatesinthetreatmentandpresentationofantigensbymajor
histocompatibilitycomplexII.Also,GILTcatalyzesthereductionofdisulfidebonds,whichplays
animportantroleincellularimmunity.(1)Background:Atpresent,thestudiesofGILThavemainly
focusedonanimals.Inplants,GILThomologousgene(ArabidopsisthalianaOSH1:AtOSH1)was
discoveredintheforwardscreenofmutantswithcompromisedresponsestosulphurnutrition.
