    Abstract

    Myocardialinfarction(MI)isacommoncardiovasculardiseasethatoftenleadstoheartfailureanddeath.Vascularendothelialgrowthfactor(VEGF)playsacrucialroleinpromotingangiogenesisandmaintainingcardiacfunctionafterMI.Period2(Per2)isacircadianclockgenethatregulatesdiversebiologicalprocesses,includingendothelialcellfunction.However,theroleofPer2inpost-MIangiogenesisremainsunclear.Inthepresentstudy,weaimtoinvestigatetheeffectofPer2onpost-MIangiogenesisandexploretheunderlyingmechanisms.
