ModuleObjectives

ThepurposeofthismoduleistointroduceparticipantstosomeofthekeyeconomicandsocialpolicyissuesinvolvedinIrelandandthebroaderglobaleconomy.Itisprimarilyconcernedwithensuringthatparticipantscanapplyeconomicconceptstoexaminepast,currentandfutureeconomicandsocialpolicyissues.ThisinvolvesexaminingtheroleofGovernmentinterventionintheeconomyandthecriticalexaminationofkeynationalandregionalpolicyobjectives.
