    ActiveVoiceActiveVoice–indicatesthatthesubjectoftheverbisactingBecausethesubjectdoesoractsupontheverbinsuchsentences,thesentencesaresaidtobeintheactivevoice.

    ActiveVoiceTheseexamplesshowthatthesubjectis?doingtheverbsaction.Thedogjumpedontotheboy.Thedog(subject)isdoingthejumping(verb).Kristywillgiveabookreporttotheclass.Kristy(subject)isdoingthegiving(verb).Thecomputeratemypaper.Thecomputer(subject)isdoingtheeating(verb).
