一、用法

*表示过去某个时间所发生的动作或存在的状态，常与具体的时间状语连用，常用的时间状语有:yesterday,inthepast,lastnight,intheyear(1989),justnow,amomentago,theotherday,onceuponatime...

例句：WewenttoSingaporelastweek.

*表示在过去一段时间内经常性或习惯性的动作或状态。

二、一般过去时的句式与结构

肯定句：1.主语+was/were+表语Iwashereyesterday.

2.主语+动词过去式+其它Wehadapicniclastweekend.

否定句：1.主语+was/werenot+表语Iwasnothereyesterday.

2.主语+didnt+动词原形+其它Wedidnthaveapicniclastweekend.

一般疑问句：1.Was/Were+主语+表语？Wereyouhereyesterday?

2.Did+主语+动词原形+其它？Didyouhaveapicniclastweekend?

特殊疑问句1.特殊疑问词+was/were+主语？Wherewereyouyesterday?

特殊疑问词+did+主语+动词原形+其它？

三、动词过去式的变化规则

一、规则变化

1.直接+ed:talk-talkedlook-lookedplay-playedstay-stayed

2.以不发音e结尾的单词，在词尾+d:like-likedarrive-arrivedhope-hopedlove-loved

3.以重读闭音节结尾，且末尾只有一个辅音字母的单词，双写+ed:

stop-stoppedplan-planned

4.以辅音字母+y结尾的单词，变y为i+ed:

study-studiedworry-worriedcarry-carried
