ABSTRACT
ThisisareportonthetranslationofTheNoiseofTypewriters:Remembering
JournalismbyLanceMorrow,ofwhichChaptersSix,Ten,Fifteen,Twenty-one,and
Twenty-nineareselectedasthesourcetext,withitsmainfocusontherenderingof
parenthesesenclosedinbrackets.Inthebook,Morrowrecallsvariousfiguresand
eventsinjournalismduringhis40-yeartenureatTimemagazine,offeringpersonal
commentaryonhownewshasinfluencedhistory.Thebookoffersawealthof
informationonjournalismwithindistincthistoricalcontexts,presentingprofound
insightsfromaseasonedindustryprofessional.Theseinsightsservetoenhance
readers’understandingandcriticalreflectionontheevolvinglandscapeofjournalism.
