thattheRX4ERuiXiang,afour-seatelectricaircraft

independentlydevelopedbyLiaoningGeneralAviation

AcademyofShenyangAerospaceUniversity,hasbeengranted

atypecertificate,XinhuaNewsAgencyreportedonThursday.

TheaircraftisChinasfirstnormal-categoryaircraft

poweredbyelectricbatteriestoreceiveofficialtypecertificationfromCAAC,theregulator,markingamilestonein

thenationsnewenergyelectricaircrafttechnology.

TheRX4EaircraftisChinasfirstfullyelectric,normal-categoryaircraftdesignedtocomplywithCCAR-23,

ChinasCivilAviationRegulationsfornormal-categoryaircraft,Xinhuareported.

Theelectricaircrafthasawingspanof13.5meters,alengthof8.4meters,andamaximumtake-offweightof

1,260kilograms.

Meanwhile,theaircraftdeliversamaximumenduranceof1.5hoursandisnotableforitszerocarbon

emissions,lownoise,cost-effectiveoperation,andhighreliability.

Thisaircraftcouldbeusedinpilottraining,sightseeing,recreationalflying,aerialphotography,andaviation
