一、一般现在时的用法

1)表示经常性、习惯性的动作或存在的状态。通常与副词sometimes,often,usually,always,everyday(year,month),once(twice,threetimes)aday,等等频率副词〔时间状语〕连用。

e.g.Theyusuallygotoschoolbybike.

Itakethemedicinethreetimesaday.实义动词表示“动作”

Shehelpshermotheronceaweek.

Mary’sfatherisapoliceman.

Thereare50studentsinmyclass.Be动词表示“状态”

Heisverybusynow.

be、do不能放一起，如果非要放一起，do后要加ing,变成现在进行时。

2)表示主语的特征、性格、爱好等。

e.g.Iworkhard.

3)表示客观真理

e.g.Therearesevendaysinaweek.
