Introduction

WelcometothepartnerinstructionsforintegratingMobileServices(GMS).

GMSarenotpartoftheAndroidtformorAndroidOpenSourceProject,butthey

areavailabletopartnersundertheMobileApplicationDistributionAgreement

(MADA)withorSOCsthathaveGMSEvaluationLicense.

AddingGMStoanAndroidbuild

TheappsthatmakeupGMSareAndroidpackages(.apkfi)thatcanbe

pre-installedonthe/system(ROM)or/datapartitionswhenpre-loadingadevice.The

Androidbuildsystemismodular,soyoucanjustdropinthebinariesandamakefile

toincludetheseapplicationsinthebuild.

FollowthesestepstoaddGMStoyourdevice:

1.DownloadandsynctheAndroidOpenSourceProjectsourcecode.

2.Createavendor/subdirectoryundertherootAndroiddirectory.

3.DownloadandunziptheGMSpackageforyourversionofAndroidandce

itinthenewvendor/subdirectory.Thestructurewillresemble:

4.Toincludealloftheapps,includethefollowinglineintheproduct
